T.P.R.S. at Moundsville state Penetenery. 2011

Our team arrived at the prison with our standard equiptment.(ie digital recorders, digital cameras, emf meters, temp meters, kll meters, enhanced audio devices and camcorders. This time our "trigger objects" were 2 of our investigators who happen to work in law enforcement. They brought along handcuffs, key rings, nightsticks and one wore a corrections officers uniform.
The team accompanied a good friend and veteran investigator  from California to the location where we met with other people planning to investigate the prison that night.
Moods, emotions and expectations were high with our team simply do to the fact that this was going to be a "hunt" for fun.No pressure or worries and hopefully we would walk away with some awesome experienecs and data.
The building itself is rather ominous looking .The older section of the prison we were later informed would be 'off limits" to us because it was not structurally sound.
Enetering the facility I couldn't help but notice the horrid smell. It was not only of mold and mildew. but apparently bats had taken up residence and the odor was overpowering at times.
My team was aware of the history of the location and also had inside facts due to the fact that one of our investigators had been a corrections officer at this very prison right up until its closure.              Our mindset for this location was simply this, aggrivate and provoke. Which we did in abundance.   Beyond  some modest temp fluxuations and a few emf spikes enviromentally speaking we were unable to collect data to support or discount any of the claims. This is not to say it is not there, we were just unable to collect it at this time. The likelyhood for this particular location to indeed have paranormal activity is high and I myself have reviewed evidence from other investigators that have been very interesting.
Our review of all the data collected including audio, video and photographic yielded  nothing of any note or interest.     As with many locations the lack of evidence was a bit disappointing however it was a great experience investigating the location  with such a strong historical significance.
